I have heard from others who are in Canada that if you turn on the recalculation that will increase the heat flow. This is what i have read on other sites. I myself live in southern California so haven't really started using the heat yet. Hope it works for you.

Terrain will make a difference. I just did a 2200 road trip in August at free way speeds between 65 and 70 miles per hour. If the terrain was flat I got about 260 miles on a full charge.
