Kona EV vs e-Niro

Fri Dec 28, 2018 9:02 pm

Assuming availability is the same for both of these electric vehicles in your area, which one do you go with?

They have the same drivetrain, but the Niro EV is not as efficient. It's only rated by the EPA for a range of 239 miles, vs the Kona Electric's 258 miles. The trade-off, however, is that the Niro is larger.

It's also expected to be slightly more expensive than the Kona EV.

I went for Kona. It's big enough for our family (3) so don't need extra space. Charging at Implera DC fast charging station with solar tower.
Tired of smelly garage, went electric in 2012.
